Five people, 54 personalities: now there’s an issue for Freud

A knockout. Five actors play 54 different characters, ranging from Socrates to a caveman, from Carl Jung to an orally-fixated Quebecois hoser.

It’s loosely structured around a lecture on Freud’s theories, which the company acts out, seizing every opportunity to pull out all the stops. There are songs, choreography, stand-up comedy, weird accents, and running gags that just get funnier as the show moves on.

The humour is quick, self-referential, ironic, silly, politically incorrect and incredibly smart.

These talented performers work their butts off in this imaginative and original work and it pays off: the audience loved every minute. You’ve never seen the Id and the Superego like this before.
